2011 KCRF Artisan Application

(Mediums which are full at this time are: Jewelry, Clothing, Leather, Oils and Incense.

Please do not apply at this time if your art is from these categories, or if you are a vendor of imported products).

As a Kansas City tradition for 35 years, the Kansas City Renaissance Festival attracts over 180,000 patrons each year.  This historically significant event takes visitors on a journey back in time to a 16th century village filled with 13 stages, over 200 costumed characters, armored jousts, Living History Tours, 165 artisan shops, and delicious foods and beverages for all tastes.

This juried show provides an exciting marketplace for art and craft wares made by artists in attendance. We are especially interested in those who can demonstrate their craft, and provide entertaining and educational knowledge about their art. All our artisans are required to participate in this live theatrical event as colorful characters, dressed from head to toe (hat to shoes) in renaissance style costumes, and speaking in an old English style dialect.
